DESCRIPTION

A polymers integrated grey cement composition based adhesive for fixing ceramic tiles on internal and external flooring. it comes in a premixed, ready to use form that can be with a number of substrates.

COVERAGE

Coverage is based on smoothness and evenness of the substrate, and the thickness of mortar used. A coverage of 35-40 Sq. Ft. per bag of 20 kg is recieved when used with a thickness of 3mm.

SHELF LIFE

Factory packed bags of Moletile Fix Adhesive Standard carry a shelf life of 12 months, if stored in cool & dry place. However, as temperature, humidity, water addition & other parameters vary from site to site, the information should be treated as a general guideline

LIMITATIONS:

Adhesives and grouts for tiles are not replacements for waterproof membranes. When a waterproof membrane is required, use waterproofing products by Molecrete or any other waterproofing product available in the market.

CAUTIONS

  • During cold weather, protect finished work from use until fully cured.
  • Contains Portland cement and other fillers. May irritate eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged contact with skin. In case of contact, flush thoroughly with water at least for 15 minutes and seek medical help if burning continues.
  • Do not take internally. Fillers may cause serious lung problems. Avoid breathing dust. Wear a respirator in dusty areas.
  • Keep out of reach of children

SURFACE PREPARATION:

The application surface/substrate must be free from loose particles or any other foreign material prior to commencement of work/application of any Moletile Fix products. Pre-wet or dampen surface with good quality fresh water, if necessary.

MIXING:

Use approx. 20kg of Moletile Fix - Tile Adhesive with approx. 5-6 litres of potable water. It is utmost important to add Dry Mix Product to the water and not vice-versa. Mix the material by hand or using a slow speed electrical stirrer in a way that a uniform mixture (free from lumps) is formed. Allow the mixture to rest for 5-10 minutes for polymers to act and remix before

APPLICATION:

The adhesive needs to be applied with a flat side of the trowel using a scrapping motion. Additional mortar should be then applied with the notched edge of the trowel.
Ensure that tile is completely bedded in the adhesive.
